Yesterday was a tough break for the reds. After a depressing series in Philadelphia, I had hopes they would have a better series in NY with the Mets big three hitters on the DL. Well, last night was less than encouraging. With Cueto struggling in the first it was bad. But why did Jay Bruce have to fracture is wrist. He was sliding for a ball and hyper extended it. It was so bad you could here a gasp in the mets crowd at the replay. While he wasn’t too hot at the plate, Bruce did offer some good defense. I sure hope we can survive till the All-Star break.
