Heavenly Father, You gave Your Son as head over all things to His body, the Church, please govern the world that the we her members may enjoy peaceful and godly lives lived for the benefit of our neighbor, especially for those of the household of faith; in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, bless [ name of congregation ] where we go to church. Grant that everyone who worships there would be built up by the Holy Spirit in faith toward You and love toward one another through the preaching of Your Son’s Word and the delivery of His Sacraments; we ask it in His name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You’ve given us [ name ] as our pastor. We thank You for him. You’ve said that the harvest is great but the workers are few, so we ask You to bless Him with strength and wisdom as he serves us so that he would not grow weary or give up; for Your name’s sake. Amen.
